- Your entry permission / visa confirmation
- Flight and hotel confirmations (printed and on your phone)
- Travel insurance details
- A little local currency and a bank card that works abroad
Ihram & worship
- Ihram garments (men) / modest clothing (women), plus a spare set
- A small dua/guide booklet or app
- Unscented toiletries for use in ihram
- Comfortable, easy-to-remove footwear
Health & comfort
- Any personal medication with a copy of the prescription
- Basics: plasters, rehydration sachets, hand sanitiser
- A refillable water bottle and a small day bag
- Weather-appropriate clothing (Makkah can be very hot)
